ONCE UPON A MATTRESS is the popular fairy tale of the princess and the pea transformed into a delightful musical comedy. Prince Dauntless is in search of a bride, only to be thwarted at every turn by his overbearing mother Queen Aggravain. When the wildly unconventional Princess Winifred arrives in the kingdom and captures his heart, the Queen has a very special test in mind. A funny and colorful production for the whole family filled with all the medieval trappings including knights, a wizard, ladies-in-waiting, a castle and a strolling minstrel. This is the show that made Carol Burnett a Broadway star.

ONCE UPON A MATTRESS stars Rebecca Mease as Princess Winifred, Russell Reed as Prince Dauntless, Karie Batzler as Queen Aggravain, Thomas Hostetter as King Sextimus, Colleen Jones as Lady Larken, Ian Bowling as Sir Harry, Ben Taylor Cohen as the Minstrel, Todd Boden as the Jester and Spurgeon Davis as The Wizard. Other cast members include William Bentz, Amy Boeshore, Brian Boeshore, Liz Colpo, Lucy Davis, Laura Gingerich, Lydia Hassell, ChrisTina Kay, Erin Kelly, Jack Krimmel, C. J. McConnell, Douglas Miller, Aaron Rodriguez, Katie Rossiter, Collin Schoeller and Brian Valley. This production is directed by Kevin Strawser with music direction by George Diehl and choreography by Trish Baillie.
