Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) (Alexander Fraser, Producing Director, Robyn Goodman, Executive Producer, Josh Fiedler, Producer & Stephen Kocis, Producer) warmly welcome the cast and creative team for the 2014 season finale, PLAID TIDINGS, A special Holiday Edition of Forever Plaid, singing holiday standards like 'Jingle Bells', 'Let it Snow' and 'I'll be Home for Christmas' in perfect, Plaid harmony!

Featuring direction and choreography by Playhouse alumni Gordon Greenberg and Lorin Latarro, respectively. The cast includes alumni Nick Cearley as "Sparky" and Ben Mayne as "Frankie," joined by Sean Bell as "Smudge" and Mitch McCarrell as "Jinx" who will be making their Playhouse debut.

The creative team for PLAID TIDINGS includes Michael Carnahan (Scenic Design), Jennifer Caprio (Costume Design), Robert Denton (Lighting Design), Lindsay Jones (Sound Design), and Phil Reno (Music Direction).

And this year, the Playhouse is turning its front Courtyard into Santa's Workshop for two weekends featuring New Hope's favorite St. Nick, Frank DeLuca. Santa will arrive via horse and carriage on Friday night, December 5th just in time for the lighting of the Playhouse Christmas tree and the opening of Plaid Tidings. Santa will then take up residence in his new Workshop welcoming the naughty and nice for photos with Santa, cider and holiday treats, and a few inspired gift ideas and stocking stuffers. Santa's Workshop will be open from noon to 2:00pm beginning Saturday, December 6 and continuing Sunday, December 7, Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14th.

"We're making the holidays very special here in New Hope with a Bucks County Christmas to remember. We're delighted to welcome Gordon Greenberg and Lorin Latarro back with the fantastic Plaids ... four adorable guys paying tribute to 50's pop with a wicked sense of humor. And, for the first time, the Playhouse will host Santa's Workshop inviting our neighbors and their families to celebrate in our own decorated, riverfront North Pole," said Alexander Fraser, Producing Director.

PLAID TIDINGS: A special Holiday Edition of FOREVER PLAID offers the best of Forever Plaid, tied-up in a nifty package with a big Christmas bow on top! At first Francis, Jinx, Smudge, and Sparky aren't sure why they've returned to Earth for another posthumous performance, but a phone call from the heavenly Rosemary Clooney lets them know that they're needed to put a little harmony into a discordant world. Sprinkled among the Christmas offerings are audience favorites like their riotous three minute and eleven second version of The Ed Sullivan Show - this time featuring the Rockettes, the Chipmunks and The Vienna Boys Choir, and a Plaid Caribbean Christmas which puts the "Day-O" in Excelsis!

Get ready for a new Bucks County Christmas tradition that's toasty, cozy, musical holiday cheer at its funniest... that will have the whole family singing long after the curtain comes down!

Performances run from Thursday, December 4th through Sunday, December 28th at the Bucks County Playhouse (70 South Main Street in New Hope, PA) and tickets start at $25.00

Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings is generously sponsored in part by ShopRite.
