Kimmel Center Elects Three to Board of Directors

Three local business leaders have been elected to the Board of Directors of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Wayne Kimmel, Managing Partner of SeventySix Capital; Gregory Segall, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Versa Capital Management, LLC; and Tony Werner, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Comcast join an impressive roster of other community leaders to aid in the continued innovation and success of the organization.

"All three of these leaders are experts in their fields and each brings a sophisticated point of view to the Kimmel Center's Board of Directors," said Anne Ewers, President and CEO of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. "Our Board boasts a roster of innovative leaders who truly understand our mission and we are confident that the organization will benefit tremendously from the abilities and guidance of these additions."

The Kimmel Center Board of Directors is led by Chair David P. Holveck, Vice Chair Robert Corrato, Vice Chair Thomas A. Decker, Vice Chair Harold A. Honickman, Treasurer John A. Francis, Jr., and Secretary Jami Wintz McKeon.

Wayne Kimmel

Wayne is an accomplished venture capitalist, a respected business and community leader and a tireless networker and connector. He takes pride in his strong ethics, integrity and deep C-level trusted global relationship network which spans business, higher education, government, and non-profits.

Philadelphia Magazine named Wayne one of the "Top Innovators" in the region. He is the Treasurer of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. He is also on the Board of Trustees of Jewish Federations of North America and on the Board of Trustees of the Einstein Healthcare Network, Chairing its Development Committee. He is on the National Advisory Council for Widener University School of Law.

Gregory Segall

Greg is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Versa Capital Management, LLC, a private equity firm with over $1.4 billion in assets under management and focused on investments in North American distressed buyouts and other special situations. He has overall responsibility for Versa and its investment strategies including leadership and supervision of the investment and portfolio management activities of the firm and its affiliated investment funds.

In addition to being a member of CEO and YPO/WPO, Greg is past president (2003-2009) of the Children's Crisis Treatment Center in Philadelphia. He is a graduate of Pepperdine University, where he received his M.B.A. He completed the Presidents Seminar at the Harvard Business School and is currently a member of the Advisory Council of the Center for Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship at Wake Forest University.

Tony Werner

Tony serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Comcast where he is responsible for developing and guiding the company's technology strategy and evolving network architecture, including supporting next-generation consumer systems and technologies, infrastructure and engineering, network integration and management tools, and technical standards.

Under Tony's leadership, Comcast has completed major platform investments, including DOCSIS 3.0 and the all-digital transition, and is delivering more product innovation faster than ever before. Comcast is now rolling out its X1 cloud-enabled platform that will bring customers a next-generation, integrated entertainment experience.

Tony serves as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) Foundation. A graduate of Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount, MN with a degree in Telecommunications, Tony resides in Philadelphia.
