Jeff Coon's Summer Club Announces PA and NJ Tour Dates

Musical theater star Jeff Coon is taking his show on the road. His Summer Club show, a homage to the Rat Pack featuring a 17-piece big band under the direction of Larry Lees, is proud to announce a series of new touring dates that will bring the ensemble to West Chester, Lancaster, Bensalem, and Avalon.

Big band and theater fans are invited to come swing with the Summer Club back to an era when life was cooler, music was snappier, and everyone drank their martinis straight up and their bourbon neat. This swinging evening of singing, dancing and fantastic fun features Jeff Coon and some of his most talented and entertaining friends from Philadelphia and New York along with an incredible 17-piece, live big band. It is an evening of live entertainment that you simply can't get anywhere else.

Audiences will start swinging in West Chester at the UPTOWN! Knauer Performing Arts Center (226 N. High Street, West Chester, PA). The Summer Club will perform shows on April 21, June 16, and September 15 at the new venue, located in middle of the historic district of West Chester. "Luck be a lady" on May 14 as The Summer Club rolls into Bensalem's Parx Casino's360 Theater (2999 Street Road, Bensalem, PA). The beautiful Fulton Theatre in Lancaster(12 N. Prince Street, Lancaster, PA) will also be graced by the swinging sounds of The Summer Club. The Summer Club got its start down the shore, so it's only appropriate for the ensemble to make several seaside appearances in Avalon. They'll kick off at the Avalon Yacht Club (704 7th Street, Avalon, NJ) on July 29, followed by performances at the Avalon Community Hall (3001 Avalon Avenue, Avalon, NJ) onAugust 4 and August 12. Of course, The Summer Club will continue their "Mondays in Manayunk" series at the Venice Island Performing Arts Center (7 Lock Street, Philadelphia, PA), with upcoming shows on April 3, May 1, June 19, August 7, October 2, December 4, and December 18, all at 8PM.
