The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia in partnership with Lisa Gaudio (daughter of original "Four Seasons" member Bob Gaudio), and the Company of the "Jersey Boys" 1st National Tour will hold a one-night only Concert/Auction to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Monday, November 29th, the evening begins with a 6:30pm Champagne/Hors d'oeuvres Reception prepared by Executive Chef Rafael Gonzalez. At 7:30 the live band hits the stage and the 1st National Tour cast of Jersey Boys will rock the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia Ballroom singing hits from Dick Clark's "American Bandstand." The night continues with a dessert bar, dancing, a silent auction boasting autographed Four Seasons memorabilia, & a live auction offering an opportunity to own one-of-a-kind Jersey Boys collectibles, and the chance to bid on other great items including vacation packages, designer fashions, sports collectibles and rare finds from both Broadway and the pop-American music world. Live auction to be hosted by Philly's Radio Legend Jerry Blavat.
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is one of the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. By drawing upon the talents, resources and generosity of the American theatre community, since 1988 BC/EFA has raised over $195 million for essential services for people in need across the United States. BC/EFA is the major supporter of seven programs at The Actors Fund: The HIV/AIDS Initiative, The Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative, The Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic, The Actors Fund Work Program, The Dancers' Resource, The Stage Managers' Project and three supportive housing residences. BC/EFA also awards annual grants to more than 400 AIDS and family service organizations nationwide.
