The Showcase of Jazz Standards Accomplishments, sponsored by Founder and President of American Theater Arts for Youth, Inc. and American Family Theater, Laurie Wagman, is a large culminating event to honor the accomplishments of students who have completed Jazz Standards, the Kimmel Center's FREE in-school residency jazz education program. The final performance will feature a full house with members of Orrin Evan's Captain Black Big Band; associates from JazzReach; teaching artists - Michele Lordi, Lee Mo, Marianne Sollivan; and students from Esperanza Academy Charter School, Martha Washington School, and Rhodes Elementary.
