Back to the Future will be shown at Hershey Theatre on Saturday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. The 1985 family sci-fi adventure directed by Robert Zemeckis stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson; Steven Spielberg was the film's Executive Producer. The film won an Academy Award for Best Effects and Sound Effects Editing.
Back to the Future was the first installment of a trilogy telling the story Marty McFly, who is sent back to 1955 in the DeLorean time machine designed by the town's mad scientist. He disrupts the space / time matrix, and must bring his parents together, stay away from the town bully, and get back to the future before he disappears. This contemporary classic features a wonderful soundtrack including "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis and the News.
Tickets are $7 for general admission and available at the Hershey Theatre Box Office, located at 15 East Caracas Avenue in downtown Hershey.
The Box Office opens at 6:30 p.m. the evening of the film. A concert on the Theatre's historic four-manual Aeolian-Skinner organ precedes the film at 7 p.m.
