CAST:
A heartfelt and joyful story about two couples reminiscing about their friendship, 33 years in the making, MIDDLETOWN explores the highs, the lows, and everything in between. The initial workshop of MIDDLETOWN received a Carbonell nomination for best new work in 2017 and was originally presented at the Jan McArt Reading Series and West Boca Theatre Company.
Don Most is best known for his co-starring role as Ralph in the long running television series HAPPY DAYS, during which he worked with then-emerging talents such as Ron Howard and Garry Marshall. Other indie films include THE YANKLES, CAMPIN' BUDDIES and CHEZ UPSHAW. Most's other feature film credits include EDtv directed by Ron Howard, CRAZY MAMA directed by Jonathan Demme, and THE GREAT BUCK HOWARD starring John Malkovich. Most also directed HARLEY'S HILL, his first family film, which premiered on Showtime, Starz and Encore.
"I've always been a fan of Don's, and when I asked Cindy Williams about him, she loved the idea and said he was a wonderful guy and a great actor," said Tony Award-winning director Seth Greenleaf. "We had a conversation about the script and I knew he would make a fantastic Don. The HAPPY DAYS / LAVERNE & SHIRLEY connection was just coincidental but it's kind of sweet that they're playing a couple in this. We are really excited to have him join the cast."
