Steven Strafford (from the original cast of Spamalot, Las Vegas) brings his one man METHTACULAR! to the Second Stage at the Adrienne for three performances only on November 11th, 12th and 13th all at 10:30 PM. The theater is located at 2030 Sansom St in Philadelphia and tickets are a $5 suggested donation at the door. Reservations can be made by calling 215-665-9720. METHTACULAR! is directed by Adam Fitzgerald (Artistic Director, kef theatrical productions) and is being presented as part of Flashpoint Theatre Company's Late Night Series. Information on the show and about Flashpoint can be found at www.flashpointtheatre.org.

Through wildly outrageous anecdotes and hilarious song stylings, Steven brings you through his harrowing account of his life as a crystal methamphetamine addict in Chicago from 2000-2003. "Come for the sex-and-drugs talk and stay for the laughs!" says Strafford, "If the stories about crystal meth addiction don't getcha, the songs sure will!"

Steven Strafford is a Brooklyn-born, Jersey-raised actor and writer. He has been seen in Spamalot (Original Vegas Cast) as Prince Herbert and 4 other characters (He's the guy who said, "I'm not dead yet," amongst other things.) Steven has worked regionally at Portland Stage Company, Sacramento Music Circus and Bakerloo Theatre Project and has performed in Europe in Grease! and in Asia in Cinderella (w/ Lea Salonga). Steven is the co-host of Web Show New York (of which he is also head writer; www.webshownewyork.com) and audiences can catch his storytelling at The Moth in and around NYC (www.themoth.org).

Flashpoint Theatre Company is dedicated to promoting cultural arts awareness in the Greater Philadelphia area through the production of socially provocative and emotionally resonant works of theatre, through the development of educational programming within the community, and through collaboration with new and emerging artists from all artistic disciplines.

Adam Fitzgerald is the Artistic Director of kef theatrical productions, where he recently directed Killing Women and Lyric is Waiting. Adam was the 2008-09 Directing Resident at Playwrights Horizons assisting Wilson Milam, Bartlett Sher and Kate Whoriskey on plays by Nicky Silver (Three Changes with Maura Tierney), Craig Lucas (Prayer for my Enemy with Victoria Clark and Jonathan Groff) and Christina Anderson (Inked Baby with LaChanze) and served as the 2007-08 Artistic Associate Playhouse West (where his production of Defiance garnered Critics Circle nominations for Director and Production). Adam currently has Letter From Algeria running at the Abingdon in NYC (with Ground Up Productions).
