Flashpoint Theatre Company presents the Philadelphia premiere of Sheila Callaghan's Crumble (Lay Me Down Justin Timberlake), April 15 - May 8, 2010. In a dilapidated apartment, just one year after her father's death, 11-year-old Janice has found the key to bringing her family back together - pop superstar Justin Timberlake.

Sheila Callaghan's plays have been produced and developed with Soho Rep, Playwright's Horizons, South Coast Repertory, Clubbed Thumb, The LARK, Actor's Theatre of Louisville, New Georges, Woolly Mammoth, and Rattlestick Playwright's Theatre, among others. Sheila is the recipient of the Princess Grace Award for emerging artists, a Jerome Fellowship from the Playwright's Center in Minneapolis, a MacDowell Residency, a 2005 Cherry Lane Mentorship Fellowship, the Susan Smith Blackburn Award, and the prestigious Whiting Award. Her plays have been produced internationally in New Zealand, Norway, Germany, and the Czech Republic. She has been commissioned by Playwright's Horizons, South Coast Repertory, The Playwright's Foundation, Clubbed Thumb, and EST/Sloan. Her full-length plays include Scab, Crawl Fade to White, We Are Not These Hands, Dead City, Lascivious Something, Kate Crackernuts, That Pretty Pretty; Or, The Rape Play, and Fever/Dream. She has taught playwriting at Columbia University, The University of Rochester, The College of New Jersey, and Florida State University, and she is currently on the faculty at Spalding University's MFA program in creative writing. Sheila is a resident artist at HERE Arts Center and New Dramatists and a member of the Obie winning playwright's organization 13P.

The cast features Flashpoint founder Gigi Naglak whose previous Flashpoint stage credits include Autobahn. Naglak has most recently co-created and starred in Chlamydia dell'Arte: A Sex-Ed Burlesque. She has also been seen in Getting Out (Simpatico Theatre Project) and Colder Than Here (Allens Lane Theater). Flashpoint staff member Sara Madden's Flashpoint credits includes Autobahn and she has recently been seen in Who Will Carry the Word (Melanie Stewart Dance Theatre). Flashpoint favorite David Stanger (Autobahn and U.S. Drag) has recently been seen in Waiting for Godot (Amaryllis Theatre Company). Making their Flashpoint debuts are Amanda Grove who has recently been seen in Other Hands (Luna Theater Company) and The Long Christmas Ride Home (Azuka Theatre) and Matt Hultgren who has been seen in The Full Monty and The Buddy Holly Story (The Media Theatre for the Performing Arts) and Carousel (Walnut Street Theatre).

The production team includes Flashpoint favorites: Costume designer Regina Rizzo, Sound and Original Music by John Glaubitz, Properties by Avista Custom Theatrical Services, LLC, and stage manager Catherine Pidgeon. Flashpoint founder MeghAnn Williams is the dramaturge. Making their Flashpoint design debuts are scenic designer Daniel Soule and lighting designer Maria Shaplin.

Director Michael Osinski is a co-founder and the current Producing Artistic Director of Flashpoint Theatre Company. Most recently he assisted Blanka Zizka on the world premiere production of Yussef El-Guindi's Language Rooms at the Wilma Theater. For Flashpoint, he directed the critically acclaimed production of Caryl Churchill's Far Away, as well as the Philadelphia premieres of Schoolgirl Figure, autobahn, The Dead Guy, and An Impending Rupture of the Belly. Michael has also directed for Allens Lane Theatre and the Philadelphia Gay and Lesbian Theatre Festival. Michael spent two years in Chicago as the General Manager of Next Theatre Company and in various backstage capacities at Steppenwolf Theatre Company and Court Theatre.

Flashpoint Theatre Company is dedicated to promoting cultural arts awareness in the Greater Philadelphia area through the production of socially provocative and emotionally resonant works of theatre, through the development of educational programming within the community, and through collaboration with new and emerging artists from all artistic disciplines. Founded in 2003 by five graduates of Drew University, Flashpoint's first five seasons have included fourteen Philadelphia premieres and one world premiere, several readings of new plays as part of the High Voltage Workshop Series, and numerous outreach events including artist talkbacks, benefit performances of Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues, and special matinees for local high school students.
