One of Tennessee Williams' very first plays, this extraordinary romantic comedy is part fantasy, part cultural revolution, and unlike any Williams you've ever seen. Venture back to the bustling 1940's, into the offices of Consolidated Shirtmakers, to meet a young office clerk who pursues his dreams of freedom and creativity, no matter what the cost. His magical adventure brings us across the city, awakening the dreams we could have lived if we just found our own secret stairs to the roof.
