Trace Adkins' trademark baritone has powered countless hits to the top of the charts and sold over 10 million albums, cumulatively. For the first time in five years, the country music superstar returns to the State Theatre on Sunday, April 23.

Show time is 7:00PM. Tickets are $69(Gold Circle)/$62/$55 and can be purchased by visiting the State Theatre Box Office, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610.252.3132 or online at www.statetheatre.org. Sponsored by CAT Country 96 and N. Pugliese, Inc.

The Grammy-nominated member of the Grand Ole Opry is a TV personality, actor, author, spokesman for the Wounded Warrior Program and the American Red Cross, for whom he raised over $1.5 million dollars as winner of NBC's All-Star Celebrity Apprentice. His hit list includes "You're Gonna Miss This," "Ladies Love Country Boys," "Songs About Me," "Every Light In The House," "Hillbilly Bone (Blake Shelton & Trace Adkins)," and "Just Fishin'," to name a few.

In his 2007 autobiography, A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Freethinking Roughneck, the former oil-rigger recounted his rise to fame, brushes with death, and battles with personal demons. Trace has played a tough as nails biker in The Lincoln Lawyer (starring Matthew McConaughey), and a wise oracle of a tattoo artist in the family-friendly film Moms' Night Out (starring Patricia Heaton, Sean Astin, Sarah Drew). He also developed and hosted GAC's "Great American Heroes" honoring every-day heroes. In recent years, Adkins has performed 10 USO Tours.

Trace Adkins roared back in early 2016 with the release of "Jesus and Jones," his first single with BBR Music Group's Wheelhouse Records. The anthem about walking the line between Saturday night and Sunday morning is an instant classic from a man with an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other. Trace's latest single, "Lit", is a stomp-along that goes back to his Badonkadonk best as he counts down the things that get him fired up. Granny's back (this time she's drunk, playin' Bingo), Grandpa's fishin' with dynamite, there's a little "Sunday morning brimstone from a Pentecostal pastor," and, "Keith Richards stoned on Rock 'n Roll tearin' up that Telecaster." Of course, nothing revs up this cowboy more than his girl, "slide on over, move a little closer with that four-alarm, fire-engine-red on your lips. So hot, you got me smokin', girl you got it goin' on, you're the only one with the kiss that gets me lit." Trace himself explains it best: "There's nothin' profound or deep about this. This is just fun! You need some levity."

Trace Adkins has performed at the State Theatre once before, in June of 2012. For more information on Trace Adkins visit TraceAdkins.com.
