Civic Theatre of Allentown to Hold Auditions For LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS 1/10

Auditions for Civic Theatre of Allentown's production of Little Shop of Horrors will be held on Sunday, January 10th at 2pm in the rehearsAl Hall above Civic's 19th Street Theatre at 527 N 19th Street in Allentown.

Actors and actresses should prepare 16-32 bars of a song from Little Shop of Horrors sung by the character they would like to play. Example: Actors interested in playing Seymour could sing 'Grow For Me,' 'Sudden Changes,' or anything else that the character of Seymour sings in the show.

All who are interested in auditioning should make an effort to attend this audition as alternate times will likely not be available.

Little Shop of Horrors is one of storied writing duo Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's most treasured accomplishments; it won both the Drama Critics Circle Award and the Drama Desk Award for Best Musical. This rock musical, with music composed by Menken in the style of early 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop and early Motown, is guaranteed fun for audiences of all ages!

Civic Theatre will produce Little Shop of Horrors in Civic's 19th Street Theatre from February 19th through March 7th in Civic's historic 19th Street Theatre.
