Changing Spots To Be Screened At Philadelphia QFest 7/17, 7/18

QFest and Pet Projects Entertainment are pleased to announce that Changing Spots will be screening at the upcoming Philadelphia QFest. From the filmmakers who brought you the 2003 film festival hit The M.O. of M.I. and Bad Vibes (2004) comes the new lesbian drama that will be joining the line up of over 100 GLBT films in Philly. Changing Spots will be screening July 17th at 9:15 and July 18th at noon; both screenings will be held at the Ritz East 2 Cinema in Old City.

Changing Spots, produced by Cynthia Rush and directed by award-winning writer/director Susan Turley, introduces Lane West (The M.O. of M.I., The Chipotle Diamonds) in her first starring role in a feature film. West stars as Molly Brite, a washed up, martini-soaked former child star who must confront her past as she balances her personal and professional worlds. Home is where the past lies in this thought-provoking tale of passion, family secrets and revenge.

Although this is her first feature film, West is an acclaimed voiceover actress, providing the voice for Comcast, Wyndham Hotels, Jaguar, Celebrity Cruises and The Kama Sutra as well as character voices for PlayStation and X-Box games.

The film also co-stars Twink Caplan (Clueless, Look Who's Talking, CSI), Larrs Jackson (The Princess Diaries 2 - Royal Engagement, Interview, Special Dead), Fleet Cooper (Sweet Home Alabama) and Danielle Egnew (CURVE Magazine's Ten Most Powerful Lesbians in Music, Vagina Monologues.)

Changing Spots has already debuted to sold out screenings at Chicago's REELING Film Festival and has won the Best Screenplay at the 2004 WinFemme Film Festival.
