Bristol Riverside Theatre presents its annual Summer Musicale series featuring Keith Baker and the BRT Band in three programs of concerts ranging from 30's sophistication to contemporary Broadway classics.

The season opens with Too Darn Hot, An Evening With Cole Porter and Friends on June 17-June 27 starring BRT favorite Keith Spencer. Spencer's smooth-voiced baritone sizzles with the witty sophistication of Cole Porter in such standards as Night & Day, Begin the Beguine, Love for Sale, I've Got You Under My Skin, and of course, Too Darn Hot. This program is presented in partnership with Jump City Music.

The summer program continues with Journeys of the Night on July 15-July 25 featuring Bethe B. Austin, Demetria Joyce Bailey and John D. Smitherman. The intimacy of cabaret comes alive with songs whose lyrics express deep feelings, played with warmth and sensitivity by the BRT band.

The Summer Musicale series concludes with Broadway Rocks on August 12-22. Jennie Eisenhower and John D. Smitherman perform some of Broadway's most popular songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Elton John, Stephen Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein.

Series tickets at $69 ($30 for students) and single tickets at $31 ($10 for students) are available by calling the BRT Box Office at 215-785-0100 or visiting brtstage.org. Bristol Riverside Theatre is located at 120 Radcliffe Street in Bristol, PA.

Since 1986, BRT has brought consistently acclaimed professional theatre to Bucks County and maintained a long-term commitment to finding and developing new plays. The theatre is the recipient of over 50 Barrymore Award nominations for Excellence in Theatre, given annually by the Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia. In addition to its mainstage productions, the theatre serves as a cultural hub for the community, with such programs as children's theatre, community concerts and exhibitions of local visual arts. Currently under the direction of Artistic Director Keith Baker, Founding Director Susan D. Atkinson, and Managing Director, Amy Kaissar, BRT concludes its 23rd season.
