Are you a star? Have you always wanted to jump on stage and act, sing, or dance your way to celebrity status? Bristol Riverside Theatre presents StarQuest 2010, a search for talent in Bucks County with the first place winner receiving a $5,000 cash prize. Entrants will compete in three categories: under 18; adult; and groups (3 or more performers).

There will be an open call for all entrants on Saturday, April 10 at Truman High School. Twelve semi-finalists from each category will be chosen to perform in the next round on Sunday, April 11 at Bristol Riverside Theatre. The finalists, four from each category, will perform on Sunday, April 18 at Bristol Riverside Theatre. The finalists will be judged by New York Casting Director Megan Larche, Barbara Whitman, Broadway producer of 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Next to Normal, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Legally Blonde; and Bucks County native Aileen Quinn, who played the title role in the movie Annie.

Entrants must be a resident of Bucks County and not be professionals, meaning they have never been paid in the medium in which they are performing.

The cost to participant in StarQuest 2010 is $15. Tickets to the semi-final round are $15 and $20. Tickets to the finalist performances are $20 and $25.
