Cockatrice - A Pupal Piece in Progress Presentation
by Bradley Wrenn
Cockatrice is a cruel tale fueled by imagination. It makes you feel special, while drawing you deeper and deeper into the bowels of a dank and musty dungeon. The piece demands that you believe in a world that is both there and not there. Bradley Wrenn's goal is to lose total control of the audience, have them kill him and toss his body on banks of the Ganges.
Bind: An In-Progress Showing
by Corinna Burns
In 1993, Corinna dropped out of college and moved into the city of Philadelphia. Then she went a little wild, and took an unusual job. This is the story of that time. This show is not family friendly.
School Play
by Jack Tamburi & Terry Brennan
School Play is a comic adventure set in the American educational system featuring an eager student battling his inability to sit still, his hyper-enthusiasm for show and tell and his love for "non-academic" subjects. Terry Brennan (Tribe of Fools) uses comedy, acrobatics and hand-balancing to tell a silly and heartwarming story of a kid who just wants to fit in.
REFRESHMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED
by Nicole Quenelle
How do we measure time? What is contained in a moment? And just what the heck are we waiting for, anyway?
Refreshments Will Be Provided casts the audience as the employees of Building 14, with intrepid call center worker JoAnn Merriweather leading them in a time management seminar that is at turns both serious corporate meeting and existential comedy. The show finds JoAnn examining her calendar and personal routine and exchanging time management tips with the audience, with interruptions for poetry readings, coffee cake, co- worker counseling, and a possible appearance by a figure from Building 14's mysterious past. Note: This show includes both audience participation and gluten (both optional). For more info and tickets: nicolequenelle.com
