ALZIRA Comes To Gran Teatro Nacional Tomorrow

ALZIRA comes to the Gran Teatro Nacional, running from Nov. 9 to Nov. 18.

Alzira is an Inca maiden claimed as a wife by the future governor of Peru in exchange for peace between Indians and Spaniards. The Inca Zamoro, who was believed dead, returns to claim the love of Alzira initiating a warlike conflict that adds to the already complicated relationship between settlers and Incas.
