Morning Melodies at His Majesty's Theatre are concerts for the Young at Heart, commencing 13 March 2013. What better way to spend a Wednesday morning than enjoying a wonderful concert in the magnificent surrounds of His Majesty's Theatre. Come with friends and experience a one hour concert from some of Australia's finest talent, followed by morning tea in the theatre foyer where you will have the opportunity to meet the performers.

Make a day of it! Show your ticket and enjoy the choice of either Chef's homemade soup or gourmet fresh filled sandwiches for only $7.80 or $10.80 including a glass of wine in the Dress Circle Bar after the show. Then head DownStairs at the Maj and visit the Museum of Performing Arts and check out the latest exhibition.

A musical comedy entertainer in the vein of Victor Borge, master of the keys David Scheel is back by popular demand with his long-awaited sequel.

Jam-packed with new material, this show features a blend of wonderful classical and not-so-classical piano and comedy, including a hilarious tribute to Peter Cook - Funeral Oration for a Traffic Cone Putter, send ups of Wagner & Verdi, both celebrating their 200th birthday anniversaries in 2013, plus perennial favourites such as his classic "translation" of Waltzing Matilda.

Enjoy the rising stars of West Australian Opera's Young Artist Programme as they treat you to some of the most memorable moments in opera.

Patrons who have attended the concerts over the past four years have witnessed these gifted young performers perfect their craft on His Majesty's Theatre stage and will have the pleasure of seeing them in principal and chorus roles as part of the West Australian Opera 2013 season.
