Take your protein pills and put your helmets on! Extraordinary entertainer Sven Ratzke presents a dazzling new rock show inspired by the music of the legend that was David Bowie.

Coming to His Majesty's Theatre for one show only, international singer and entertainer Ratzke brings, not just a David Bowie tribute, but creates an entirely new character with STARMAN.

In this Australian premiere, the weirdly mad and entertaining universe of Ratzke will merge with the legendary Bowie universe into a grandiose music show.

Ratzke will be accompanied by his brilliant three-man band led by longtime collaborator Charly Zastrau. The music grooves from Seventies glam rock into sound collages and intimate moments.

Explore Bowie's life, from New York to Berlin, and re-discover his classic songs.

Sven Ratzke spends 48 weeks of the year touring all the biggest theaters, cabaret venues and festivals all over the world. From sold out shows at Lincoln Center in New York to the Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam to the famous Berliner Ensemble in Berlin.

Ratzke's style and talent are unique. He combines high culture with elements of cabaret and vaudeville. He can be a real crooner, but also a cool rocker and has a touch of Berlin golden twenties in his blood. Ratzke transforms legendary material from Brecht/Weill or even David Bowie as if you never heard it before.

He works closely together with his brilliant pianist and arranger Charly Zastrau and many great guest musicians like Eric Vloeimans, Lavinia Meijer and Fay Lovsky.

On stage he has worked with legends like Nina Hagen, the muse of Fassbinder: Hanna Schygulla, The Tiger Lillies and orchestras like the Asko Scho?nberg Ensemble. He has made shows with soprano Claron McFadden and Holland's darling Ellen ten Damme.

Recently he took the title role in the first-ever Berlin production of "Hedwig en de Angry Inch", a role for which he received critical praise. Ratzke created his own Late Night show around Europe, he won many awards, writes for newspapers and theatre, released several CDs and is working on his own musical.
