STAGE TUBE: Kristin Chenoweth Teases Australia Concerts!

Set to cast a spell over Australia, Glinda the Good Witch of the North, Kristin Chenoweth, comes south for her Australian debut in June at the 2013 Adelaide Cabaret Festival. Presented by Arts Centre Melbourne in association with Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Kristin Chenoweth will take to the stage at Arts Centre Melbourne's Hamer Hall at 8pm Wednesday 12 June as part of a national tour to Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane. Kristin Chenoweth will enchant audiences at this once-in-a-lifetime concert traversing pop, opera and the Broadway classics that have made her a star.

Best known on-stage for creating the role of Glinda in the original Broadway production of Wicked (2003), which tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz, Kristin Chenoweth is one of Broadway's most celebrated stars. Most recently, Chenoweth starred opposite Sean Hayes from TV's Will & Grace in the Broadway revival of Promises, Promises (2010), a 1960s musical by Burt Bacharach and Hal David which features the hit songs I'll Never Fall in Love and I Say a Little Prayer.

On-screen, Kristin Chenoweth has appeared in many television and film roles, including The West Wing as Annabeth Schott and Pushing Daisies as Olive Snook. Putting her musical talents to good use, Chenoweth has guest judged on American Idol and guest starred on musical TV show Glee as April Rhodes. Last year, Chenoweth starred as the antagonist in GCB, a series based on the novel Good Christian Bitches by Kim Gatlin.
