Club Swizzle Line-Up Announced For Fringe World Festival 2018

Following its world premiere at Sydney Opera House, and subsequent seasons in Brisbane and Adelaide, the acclaimed melange of outrageous cabaret, air-defying acrobatics and infectious musical revelry is making its way to Perth for FRINGE WORLD 2018, ahead of an international tour.

There's no better place to celebrate than at CLUB SWIZZLE, where every night is New Year's Eve!

In Perth's hottest new venue - The Ice Cream Factory on Roe Street, there's a bar - the CLUB SWIZZLE bar - where legends are made, good times abound and the cheekiest souls in show business come together to create a night of sassy entertainment you'll never forget. This is CLUB SWIZZLE, where no two nights are the same.

A delightfully immersive night out, with friends old and new - leave your coat and your hang-ups at the door for the most devilish and downright cheeky show in town.

Holding onto the reins of chaos is Special Guest Host, cabaret wunderkind REUBEN KAYE (Winner Best Cabaret Show, Adelaide Fringe 2017). Described as "the evil love child of Liza Minelli and Jim Carrey" Kaye is a rising star of the international cabaret scene with a stunning voice and a wicked wit. Pin wheeling across the bar in a delicious cocktail of energy, high camp and big notes, Kaye is a virtual explosion of sequins, lashes and teeth.

Shaking things up behind and on top of the bar are THE SWIZZLE BOYS - Benjamin Lewis, Simon McClure, Will Underwood and Joren Dawson. Acrobatic and charismatic in equal measure, these sculpted rascals will pour your drink and steal your heart. From stunts on poles, to cocktails poured at heights (and odd angles), the disturbingly dextrous and athletic foursome shake and stir their patrons. At CLUB SWIZZLE, they'll be showing off their breathtaking skills.

Providing the soundtrack for the night is the hottest live band in town with a repertoire as big as their bar tab - THE UNEXPECTED PERKS, which includes local Perth musician WAYNE FREER.

Rounding out the cast is an eclectic mix of sexy sirens, fierce divas and incredible entertainers with an irresistible sense of good old-fashioned showmanship.

Artists include Harlem born and raised the dashing DANDY WELLINGTON jazzing it up onstage in the vein of hits from the Big Band era. Belgian performer Laurie Hagen is a good girl gone more than a little bit naughty, Laurie is the winner of the 'Best Burlesque Act' at London's Cabaret Awards 2013 and 'Most Innovative Performance' at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend 2013 in Las Vegas. She has dazzled more audience members and lit up more stages than CLUB SWIZZLE can count. Comic Powerhouse, New York native, the irrepressible Amy G is a full-on show-stopping showgirl and has the legs, the voice, the skates and the ukulele to prove it. Amy is a revolutionary tour-de-force of the cabaret scene and comes to CLUB SWIZZLE direct from LA SOIRÉE's current hit season on London's West End.
