YES, the multiple award-winning film based on Tim Realbuto's critically acclaimed Off-Broadway play, returns to New York City for a special screening as part of the Hell's Kitchen Film Festival on Sunday, January 19th at 2:00 PM at The Producers Club Theatres (358 West 44th Street) in midtown Manhattan.

This marks the fifth 'Build A Comic' segment on Lights Out having previously featured SEAL Team Six's Robert O'Neill, NBA player Nick Young, Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder and Spade's driver Matt Stonerock. I am hoping to catch them sometime soon, as tap is my first love in dance; Entity Contemporary Dance, on March 16, who's Review I have already posted on Broadway World; and the piece de resistance, Lukas McFarlane's Epic Astoria.

dick clark productions announced today the line-up of stand-out performers and talent who will be recognized at the 22nd Annual “Hollywood Film Awards.” Crazy Rich Asians will receive the “Hollywood Breakout Ensemble Award,” Amandla Stenberg will be recognized with the “Hollywood Breakout Performance Actress Award” for 20th Century Fox's The Hate U Give, while John David Washington will receive the “Hollywood Breakout Performance Actor Award” for his role in Focus Features' BlacKkKlansman. Additionally, Felix Van Groeningen will be bestowed the “Hollywood Breakthrough Director Award” for Amazon Studios' Beautiful Boy, and Yalitza Aparicio will be given the “New Hollywood Award” for her performance in Netflix's ROMA.

Warner Brothers next expected Crazy Rich Asians to be as successful as it has. They predicted the movie would take in 20-25 million its first weekend. Instead, it took in 35 million. In its second week, it took 25 million, remaining in first place at the box for a second week straight and only dropping 6%, bringing in huge numbers for the studio. It is rare for a movie to have such a low drop in its second week; word-of-mouth has been golden and everyone is rushing to see the feel-good movie of the summer that has all their friends and co-workers buzzing.
