BIO

Nick Lehan is an award winning actor, singer and teaching artist based in New York City. A two time Helen Hayes Award Nominee, Nick won the award for his performance as Harold Bride in Signature Theatre's production of TITANIC.


Nick is a third generational performer having spent his childhood backstage watching his parents perform on almost every stage in Washington, D.C. He is extremely proud to say he cut his teeth in such a rich artistic community.
As a teaching artist, Nick has taught and run his program at The Kennedy Center, The Hippodrome Foundation and the Hennepin Theatre Trust. He also teaches as an adjunct professor at Keene State College.
Nick is a proud graduate of The Catholic University of America where he studied under the School of Music's Jane Pesci-Townsend. He graduated, received a Bachelor of Arts, and learned how to write in the third person effectively.

Ensemble Announced For Olney's THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR

Olney Theatre Center has announced the quartet of actors performing in The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, a special 90-minute variety show created and directed by Kevin McAllister just for Olney Theatre Center that runs December 16 - December 31, 2022 in its 1938 Original Theatre.

Howard County Arts Council Celebrates 40 Years At Celebration Of The Arts In Howard County

On Saturday, October 2nd, the Howard County Arts Council hosted the 24th Annual Celebration of the Arts in Howard County. This year's benefit gala welcomed nearly 200 guests to the in-person performance at the Jim Rouse Theatre for the Performing Arts in Columbia and another 100 to a virtual live-stream, raising more than $40,000 (net) to support the arts in Howard County. Since 1998, more than $1.6 million has been raised through Celebration of the Arts!

David Rowen, producer of YouTube series davidrowen/creative, assembled a diverse group of Broadway/theatre performers to remake and put a spin on the classic gospel medley, 'Joyful, Joyful,' from the Whoopi Goldberg and Lauryn Hill film, Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit. The video is the creative element of a larger project to promote positive social change, and to raise awareness and charity for Teen and Police Service (TAPS) Academy, which is a program that connects at-risk youth and law enforcement to build trust and understanding between the two groups.
