A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical has added producers Tonya Lewis Lee, Mathew and Gena Avery Knowles, and Les Coney to the producing team.

Stars came out for the opening of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, directed by Tony Award-winner Kenny Leon, on Thursday, October 10 at the Barrymore Theatre. Disney’s Onyx Collective announced streaming premiere date for its first narrative feature film, “Bruiser,” following its theatrical release on Dec. 2. The film stars Trevante Rhodes as Porter, Shamier Anderson as Malcolm, Shinelle Azoroh as Monica, and Jalyn Hall as Darious.

Former WME partner Holland is set as senior vice president of Scripted Series, along with seasoned producers Anil Kurian and Janice Park, who will both serve as vice presidents of Scripted Series. All three will report to Tara Duncan, president of Freeform and Onyx Collective.

Onyx Collective announced today that it has picked up “Unprisoned” as its first scripted comedy series. From creator Tracy McMillan. The eight-episode series is produced by ABC Signature and will be streamed exclusively on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in all other territories.

Onyx Collective and ABC News announced a joint acquisition of the award-winning documentary “Aftershock,” following its debut as an official selection of the U.S. Documentary Competition at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. The feature won the U.S. Documentary Special Jury Award for Impact for Change.

Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway premiere of Trouble in Mind opened on Broadway. Netflix has announced that She's Gotta Have It Season 2 will be released on May 24, 2019.
