Emily Blunt in Talks to Star in Next Film From Steven Spielberg

Emily Blunt, who was recently nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in Oppenheimer, may be appearing in the next film from prolific director Steven Spielberg. If cast, Blunt is said to be playing one of two leads. This will be the first time she works with the director.

While theater often manages to entertain or to move its audience, Angles in America is a great example of how quality theater can also educate....upon hearing Kushner’s masterful dialogue and viewing Checchia’s excellently vulgar and vile performance (of Roy Cohn), I was incentivized to learn everything that I could about this man and the damage that he has done.
Steven Spielberg to Release 'Event Film' in 2026

Universal and Amblin Entertainment have announced the release date for the next film from the prolific director Steven Spielberg. Said to be an 'event film,' Spielberg's movie will released theatrically on May 15, 2026. The film will be based on a story from Spielberg, with a screenplay written by David Koepp, who has penned several Spielberg films in the past.

Portland Stage joins forces with the Dramatic Repertory Company to revive Tony Kushner’s multiple award-winning 1991 drama, ANGELS IN AMERICA, in a production that Artistic Director Anita Stewart proudly calls “all Maine-made.” The company has shouldered the huge task of presenting the sprawling seven-hour epic in two parts, the first of which “Millennium Approaches” proves its ability to create a powerful emotional impact long after its premiere.

Cole Escola stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers in full Mary Todd Lincoln garb to discuss their hit play, Oh, Mary, which was recently announced to be transferring to Broadway. Escola wrote the play and also stars as the central character of Mary Todd Lincoln. The plot centers on the First Lady during the weeks leading up to Lincoln's assassination. Watch the interview!
