Presenters of the 3rd Annual competition of The National Student Production Awards were announced today by The Foundation of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Live-Streamed from Emerson College in Los Angeles, CA, on Thursday, October 18th, 2018, the event will be hosted by television personality, Tom Bergeron. The Foundation of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) presents this competition annually which includes 23 programming and craft categories honoring student productions from across the country. “Dancing with the Stars” is back with a new, dynamic cast of 13 celebrities who are ready to move out of their comfort zones and hit the ballroom floor on a special two-night premiere. ABC announced today that the network has picked up new seasons of four alternative series: the 29th season of “AFV,” 23rd season of “The Bachelor,” 27th season of “Dancing with the Stars” and second season of “Child Support.” The news broke via a social media “round-robin” between hosts Alfonso Ribeiro (@Alfonso_Ribeiro), Chris Harrison (@ChrisBHarrison), Fred Savage (@TheFredSavage), Tom Bergeron (@Tom_Bergeron) and Erin Andrews (@ErinAndrews).

The ABC Television Network has announced midseason premiere dates for the new dramas The Crossing, Deception, For The People and the Grey's Anatomy spinoff, as well as new comedies Alex, Inc. and Splitting Up Together. Additionally, American Idol will air Sundays and Mondays, beginning March 11. Dates have also been set for the premiere of Dancing with the Stars All-Athletes Edition and the return of Quantico.

Nominations for THE CRITICS CHOICE AWARDS were announced today. Fox Searchlight's THE SHAPE OF WATER leads the pack with a whopping 14 nominations. Best Picture and Director contenders included DUNKIRK, CALL ME BY YOUR NAME, LADY BIRD and THE POST, each with eight nominations.

The Carney Awards announced today that NBCUniversal's COZI TV will serve as the exclusive broadcast partner for the 2017 Carney Awards. The partnership marks the first time that The Carney Awards will be broadcast in homes throughout the country. The Awards will be broadcast today, December 2, 2017 at 9:00pm EST.
