Transport Group has announced casting for its one-night-only performance of the Frank Capra holiday classic, It's a Wonderful Life, directed by Artistic Director Jack Cummings III, which takes place Monday, December 12, at 8pm, at The Sheen Center for Thought and Culture, 18 Bleecker Street.

Discovering Sylvia, written by playwright Cyndi Feinman and directed by Dennis Creighton, is a play about Sylvia (Carolyn Berliner) and Graig (Ben Mantell) navigating the trials and tribulations of the first year of parenthood. The play is being performed at Teatro Latea at 107 Suffolk Street 11/7 at 9pm, 11/9 at 9pm and 11/12 at 6:45pm.

Little Shop of Horrors will perform at Meadow Brook Theatre on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester through October 30, 2022. Fair warning, though, Little Shop of Horrors isn't your grandmother's musical, and it is definitely not your average fairy tale. This show had some tremendous talent, surprising twists and turns, and a love story to die for.

This past month, I had the opportunity to speak with Tim Dolan, the owner of Broadway Up Close, a company of storytellers who share stories to help visitors get a closer look at the world of Broadway. There are three different components that make up Broadway Up Close - Tours, gifts, and workshops. The tours are given both in-person and virtually, going over a range of different topics related to Broadway.
