Singers Beverley Knight, Andrew Roachford, Omar Lye-Fook, and Tony Momrelle will join Sir Lenny Henry at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 19 October for The Sound of Philadelphia – marking 50 years of Black-owned soul music label, Philadelphia International Records, and legendary songwriting partnership Kenny Gamble, Leon Huff, and Thom Bell.

Asa Butterfield, star of Netflix’s Sex Education will make his stage debut in the one-man play, Second Best – a fictional story about the boy who came second to play Harry Potter. 

Sam Gold’s production of ROMEO + JULIET, starring Emmy Award winner Kit Connor and Golden Globe Award winner Rachel Zegler, begins previews tonight at the Circle in the Square Theatre. The production officially opens Thursday, October 24, 2024. Meet the cast of ROMEO + JULIET here!

Marking their 25th anniversary, Outside Edge Theatre Company (OETC) have appointed four new trustees: award-winning director Sarah Frankcom, finance expert Brian Dorgan, fundraiser Tania Moy and Southwark Playhouse’s Head of Participation, David Workman.

Apple TV+ has revealed that BAFTA Award winner Adeel Akhtar, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Emmy Award nominee Tom Goodman-Hill, BAFTA Award winner Darren Boyd, Tom Riley, SAG Award nominee Adam Godley, Sinead Matthews, Ken Nwosu, Fehinti Balogun and Aiysha Hart are set to join the cast of “Down Cemetery Road.” 

The Donmar Warehouse has announced that Adam Kenwright will be standing down as Chair of the Board, after completing an extended term in the role.

Cate Blanchett and Tom Burke will star in Duncan Macmillan and Thomas Ostermeier's new version of Chekhov's masterpiece The Seagull. Also directed by Ostermeier, the production will play a limited 6 week run at the Barbican Theatre from February 2025. 

HighTide has announced the appointment of Alan Bookbinder as Chair of the Board. Bookbinder will take over from Tim Clark who steps down as Chair this Autumn.
