In the original, a southern church's ladies club saved a young runaway. This time around, they try to save Christmas for their parish after the figure of baby Jesus is stolen from their cr che.

Forte Dramatic Productions partners with Pierott Productions to bring Allen's musical biography to the stage at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre. Dates and show times are Fridays, May 12 and 19 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, May 13 and 20 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, May 14 and 21 at 2 p.m.

In this much-loved comedy, shipwrecked Viola disguises herself as a man, falls in love with the duke she serves, and is wooed by a titled lady. Meanwhile, a gaggle of bawdy retainers torment the pompous butler. Hilarity ensues, of course.
