On Thursday, October 24, 2024, the Mabel Mercer Foundation proudly presented the final night of the 35th annual New York Cabaret Convention, held at Jazz at Lincoln Center. The three-night 2024 Cabaret Convention closed on a high note with Everything Old Is New Again, featuring classic songs, old and new. See photos from the night.

The Cabaret Convention's three multi-performer shows are done for this year. Concluding our recaps, here's the word on what we heard during the third night: EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN, presented on October 24th. So many songs, so many singers, jammed into three nights, is the cornucopia of the Cabaret Convention concerts.

After several sold-out shows at Birdland, crooning troubadour and nouveau vaudevillian Bryce Edwards returned to the historic stage with The Frivolity Hour on Monday, September 9. Once more, Bryce shared his brand of hot traditional jazz and early 20th century popular music. Check out photos here!

Birdland presented singer Karen Mack in concert on Monday, August 26. The event celebrated Karen’s new solo album 'Catch & Keep,” a fun mix of contemporary jazz classics, including works by Dave Frishberg, Bob Dorough, Nellie McKay and Betty Bryant. See photos from the show.
