Victory at the Cleveland International Piano Competition is now even more life-changing, thanks to a new partnership with CIM. 

From over 200 entries for the Queensland Premier’s Drama Award 2025, and three finalists announced earlier this year, playwright Jordan Shea has been announced as the winner for his tender dramedy that pits love against obligation, Malacañang Made Us.   

The Mercury Theatre in Colchester has announced the full cast and creative team for their 2024/5 pantomime, The New Adventures of Peter Pan, which will run from 23 November 2024 – 19 January 2025.

For some, especially in music, teaching isn’t just a profession. It’s a calling.  Count among that group violinist Jessica Lee.  On Monday, CIM announced that Lee will leave The Cleveland Orchestra to assume an expanded and full-time leadership role as chair of its violin department.

On Monday, Executive Vice President & Provost Scott Harrison announced that next year, Wei Yu will transition from visiting faculty to a full faculty appointment, teaching a select studio each year while continuing as principal cello of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
