The 30th anniversary of Broadway Bares filled New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom on June 26, 2022, with an abundance of “community, unity and nudity” as the venerable modern-day burlesque spectacular wrapped up Pride Sunday with a raucous return to in-person performances after a pandemic-induced three-year hiatus. The MV Concert Series announced another round of top touring musicians that will be performing at the Loft on Martha's Vineyard. Martin Sexton, Badfish, moe., Dwight and Nicole, and Dalton & The Sheriffs join a packed lineup at the Loft, which includes acts like Livingston Taylor, Joan Osborne and Ripe. The moe. shows will be a special Beach Road Weekend after party.

The spooktacular, fantastical stream of I Put a Spell on You, an over-the-top and cinematic homage to Hocus Pocus, raised $239,241 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS over the Halloween weekend.

Pure Imagination Projects will present a workshop production of a world premiere play, MARVELS OF MAGIC, written by Andrew Simmons and directed by Enrico De La Vega. Chase Brock, the contemporary choreographer behind the Broadway-bound production Be More Chill and the Brooklyn-based Company The Chase Brock Experience (CBE), is thrilled to announce the casting for the world premiere of his newest creation, The Girl with the Alkaline Eyes. A futuristic A.I. thriller set in the high-tech lab of a young entrepreneur, Troy, the piece centers on Oliver, a young, hot-shot coder who has been hard at work on a secret project: Co, an extraordinarily lifelike creation that will change not only the life of his creator, but the lives of everyone around him.

Hartford Opera Theater will offer New in November 9, a collection of short operas and opera excerpts. Suffice it to say that the company members of the Broadway National Tour of WICKED are popular with St. John's Episcopal Church supporters-very. While here in Michigan for their month-long stop at the Detroit Opera House-their last performance is Sept. 2- the WICKED team left the Land of Oz for one evening to perform a sold-out benefit concert in front of 450 supporters. It was Witches' Night Off and oh, what a night.

The Chase Brock Experience (CBE), a Brooklyn-based contemporary dance company, recently announced they will celebrate their 10th Anniversary NY Season at Theatre Row's Clurman Theatre from November 27 - December 9, 2017. To further commemorate the company's first 10 years, CBE is excited to announce that they will offer the first-ever CBE Intensive from December 5 through December 8, 2017.
