On Twitter, Simon Cowell wrote 'I am so sad to hear about the news Simone Battle has passed away. She was such a fun nice person. It's such a loss. Rest in peace Simone.'

According to People.com, girl band G.R.L. member Simone Battle was found dead on Friday in Los Angeles. The cause of death is as of yet unknown.
