Featuring four top Broadway stars: 2019 Tony Award nominee Damon Daunno (Curly in Broadway's 'Oklahoma!'); 1987 Tony Award nominee Robert Torti (Greaseball from 'Starlight Express'); Andy Mientus (Broadway's 'Les Misérables' and the Pied Piper on the CW series 'The Flash'); and Jennifer DiNola (Elphaba in Broadway's 'Wicked'), 'Broadway Sings Blood Rock: The Musical' is currently under consideration for a 2021 Grammy Award in the category of 'Best Musical Theatre Album.'

The first-ever New Works Virtual Festival kicks off tonight! Every evening from December 5th - 25th of 2020 at 8PM EST/5PM PT, the New Works Virtual Festival will stream video readings of 20 new scripts of non-musical pieces (19 plays, 1 teleplay) as well as an 21st (a 'Christmas Special') featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members.

The New Works Virtual Festival will stream 20 new non-musical scripts every day from December 4th - 24th of 2020 (19 plays, 1 teleplay) featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members. A 21st piece will be selected from holiday-themed submissions to be streamed on December 25th.

Songwriter, vocalist, and music producer Michael Berns has been keeping busy during these quarantined times producing a six-song EP of his theatrical show BLOOD ROCK: THE MUSICAL. With the able vocal assist from his Broadway friends (Andy Mientus, Damon Daunno, Jennifer DiNola and Robert Torti), and his new writing partner Ralph Pezzullo, Broadway Sings Blood Rock The Musical has been created.

From Sunday October 25th to Saturday the 31st, the NWVF will stream video readings of 20 new scripts of non-musical pieces (19 plays, 1 teleplay) featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members. 4 new play scripts have been announced by the team.
