Fred Johanson and Julian Capolei Join the Cast of Disney's ALADDIN

As it prepares to celebrate its second birthday in the West End, Disney's Aladdin announces today that fourteen new cast members will be joining the company. Matthew Croke will continue to star in the title role, having joined the company in June 2017, opposite original London cast members Jade Ewen (Jasmine) and Trevor Dion Nicholas (Genie). New cast members include Fred Johanson as Jafar and Julian Capolei as Omar. Original cast member Jermaine Woods will play Iago, having previously covered the role.

Ahead of its first anniversary at the Prince Edward Theatre, Disney's Aladdin has released behind-the-scenes photography of the new company in rehearsals. Having opened to critical acclaim in London's West End in June 2016, the hit musical based on the classic Academy Award®-winning animated film will celebrate its first birthday in the West End on 15 June 2017.

Disney Theatrical Productions' West End premiere of ALADDIN, based on the classic Academy Award-winning animated film, opens at the Prince Edward Theatre on Wednesday 15 June 2016, with previews from Friday 27 May. Over 350,000 new tickets are released for sale today (26 February 2015) for Beautiful - The Carole King Musical. Playing both in the West End and on Broadway, Beautiful - The Carole King Musical is now booking at the Aldwych Theatre to 13 February 2016.
