Skyline Theatre Company, a 20-year-old professional theatre company previously calling Bergen County its home, will continue its 2023 season in Bloomfield on Sunday, October 29 at 4:00pm with a one-performance-only Broadway musical tribute to all things Halloween in A ‘NIGHTMARE' ON BROADWAY.

There was a lot of history crossing that stage, with performers reprising numbers they’d sung on the Great White Way as far back as the 1970s. Giving the proceedings a uniquely touching quality was the sweet meeting of the generations, with these still very vital veterans being welcomed by — and conversing with — a respectful master of ceremonies who’s still in his teens, but is immersed in musical theatre lore.

Next week, 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club and 2022 Tony Awards Honoree for Excellence in the Theatre, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. 54 Below celebrates Broadway musicals and writers of the past and present, promoting an ongoing engagement with their work.

Broadway's longest-running show ever, The Phantom of the Opera, took its final Broadway bow last night, April 16, 2023, after a 35-year run. BroadwayWorld was there and you can check out photos of the stars arriving for the big night here!

For three already sold-out performances, Broadway star Michele McConnell will appear with the Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus (PSGMC), in the chorus's holiday show, SPARKLE, TWINKLE, JINGLE!, at the Palm Springs Art Museum's Annenberg Theater. Performances will take place Friday and Saturday, December 10th & 11th at 7 p.m., and Sunday, December 12th at 3 p.m.

Actors Theatre of Indiana is pleased to welcome back Hoosier native Michele McConnell to ATI LIVE at Feinstein's Cabaret located inside The Hotel Carmichael in Carmel, IN. “Lush Life: Celebrating the music of Linda Ronstadt” brings McConnell home from NYC to share some of her favorite selections of this living legend, including some specific influences on her own life and career!

The event will be co-hosted by Brooke Elliott, currently starring in the new Netflix series “Sweet Magnolias” and recently portrayed the lead role of Jane Bingum in Lifetime TV’s “Drop Dead Diva.” Sam Scalamoni, Skyline Theatre Company’s Co-Founder and Artistic Director, will be the event’s other co-host.

One of the nation's oldest symphonic choruses, the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir announces tickets are on sale now for all upcoming concerts as part of the 2018-2019 season. Covering everything from annual family favorites to timeless musical masterpieces, the 82nd anniversary season's diverse lineup reflects the Choir's celebration of the choral classics and a commitment to the future of choral music.

As magical as the evening was, after Freddie Gershon gave an impassioned presentation to the duo, Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones hit the stage and brought the house down at ages 88 and 89 respectively. They joined forces onstage to perform a song from their musical The Bone Room, described by Jones as being about 'the pleasures of dying and being embalmed in this great country of ours.' The 2017 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre was presented to the legendary team (The Fantasticks, I Do, I Do!, 110 in the Shade, Celebration) at the event held at the Asia Society on Park Ave in NYC and BroadwayWorld was there.
