Creative Cauldron will present THE TWELVE DANCING PRINCESSES / DOCE PRINCESAS BAILARINAS, the latest production from its Learning Theater program.

The 2026 Helen Hayes Award nominations have been announced, recognizing outstanding achievement in Washington-area professional theatre. Arena Stage, Signature Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Round House Theatre, and dozens of regional companies are represented across performance, direction, design, and production categories. The awards highlight the breadth of theatre work presented throughout the D.C. metropolitan area.

Creative Cauldron is uplifting children’s theater and giving young actors opportunities to fly in their original, musical adaptation of Peter Pan and Wendy. However, the script could use some more fairy dust to adapt it for a modern rendition. 

The directing, composing, and writing team of the talented Matt Conner and Stephen Gregory Smith are presenting an intriguing revival of their 2015 world premiere of their intense and enigmatically ambitious production of The Turn of the Screw: The Musical. This adaptation from the acclaimed author Henry James’ novella—The Turn of the Screw, is highly provocative and moves along swiftly in a highly coiled and compressed eighty-minutes in the intimacy of the Creative Cauldron Theatre space.

Creative Cauldron has announced its 2025-26 Season — the first full season in its stunning new home at Broad & Washington. Featuring a dynamic mix of beloved favorites and exciting new musicals, this season promises unforgettable productions that will captivate and inspire.

 Emergent TheatreWorks will kick off their season with FUGITIVE SONGS, a song cycle from award-winning songwriters Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen, which is a 19-song journey across America.  

Creative Cauldron's annual “Summer Passport Music Festival” is back again for a summer of music, featuring some of the most talented and diverse musicians in the Metro D.C. area and beyond.
