Sydney Theatre Company and Michael Cassel Group have announced the Australian premiere season of Dear Evan Hansen has been extended due to overwhelming demand, with tickets now on sale for final shows through until 1 December 2024.

Rising star Beau Woodbridge has been announced as the lead in the upcoming Australian tour of Sydney Theatre Company and Michael Cassel Group’s brand-new production of DEAR EVAN HANSEN, premiering at STC’s Roslyn Packer Theatre from 12 October. 

Following an exhaustive national search, Sydney Theatre Company and Michael Cassel Group have revealed the spectacular array of Australian theatre icons and dazzling newcomers who will star in the Australian premiere of DEAR EVAN HANSEN premiering at STC's Roslyn Packer Theatre from October 12. 

Mamma Mia! The Musical returns to Melbourne, which marks the final stop of the show’s 2023 Australian tour.

In 2017 Gary Young (Director) delivered a reimagined production of MAMMA MIA!. In 2023, this production has been revived with a new cast and a more compelling expression of the underlying coming of age love stories to the delight of audiences, many of which are familiar with the franchise that extended from Phylida Lloyd’s original stage production that premiered on the West End in 1999 and transitioned to film in 2008.

Featuring 22 of ABBA's greatest hits, including Dancing Queen, Voulez Vous, S.O.S and Take a Chance On Me, the iconic songs you know and love are guaranteed to have audiences dancing in the aisles when the tour kicks off at Sydney Lyric from May 24, then onto QPAC's Lyric Theatre in Brisbane from August 6 and Melbourne's Princess Theatre from October 4.

A wonderful new course for musical theatre performers has been announced. The Broadway & West End Experience is a five-day intensive program for aspiring music theatre performers aged from 12 to 35.

AT THE CROSSROADS marks Dale Burridge’s return to the theatre stage after an over two-decade absence.

After stepping away from musical theatre stages for over 20 years, one of Australia's leading men, and the original Raoul in the Australian Premiere Production of The Phantom of the Opera, Dale Burridge returns to the stage with a funny, moving, heartfelt exploration of the highs and lows of a life spent on, and off, the stage. 

One of the longest-running and most successful musicals of all time, the trio playing the iconic leads will be Melbourne-born Joshua Robson as The Phantom, Brisbane performer Georgina Hopson as Christine and acclaimed West End and Broadway musical theatre performer Callum Francis as Raoul Vicomte de Chagny.

Stage and screen star Ian Stenlake is joining the cast of the Australian premiere of The Bridges of Madison County to play the leading role of Robert Kincaid. Based on the best-selling novel and developed by the Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning creative team of Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five Years, Parade, Songs for a New World) and Marsha Norman (The Secret Garden, The Colour Purple), the Tony Award winning musical The Bridges of Madison County will have its Australian Premiere next month at Hayes Theatre Co.
