The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities kicks off its holiday season with the hit Broadway musical ELF- The Musical directed by Gavin Mayer, opening November 20, 2018. ELF -The Musical is based off the popular 2003 film starring Will Ferrell, which became an instant holiday classic. This charming musical, perfect for audiences of all ages, follows Buddy the Elf on his journey to find his true family and revive their Christmas spirit. Florida Studio Theatre concludes its 44th Winter Mainstage season with the world premiere production of Honor Killing by Sarah Bierstock, a challenging and provocative new play that tackles timely themes like cultural division and women's issues. Prospect Theater Company, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Cara Reichel and Managing Director Melissa Huber, will present MONUMENT, a collection of new mini-musicals in concert, the culmination of Prospect's 2018 Musical Theater Lab. InProximity Theatre Company today announced full casting for the first annual Project W Theatre Festival, a multi-day free play reading event June 6 - 10, 2017 featuring new plays written, directed and produced by women.
