On Friday, March 19 at 7 pm (EDT) monologues by six playwrights will be seen in the world premiere of Put a Woman On A Pedestal, an on-line StatueFest of readings by Pauline David-Sax, Renee' Flemings, Allison Fradkin, Judith Pratt, Laura Shamas and Lucy Wang.

On the eve of the highly-anticipated Presidential Inauguration of President-Elect Joseph R. Biden and Madam Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris, the cast of the critically-acclaimed off-Broadway hit, Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, released a rendition of “God Bless America” in Yiddish, featuring Academy and Tony Award winner Joel Grey and Steven Skybell.

This week, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene brings the stage to global audiences this Thursday with Folksbiene LIVE!, featuring Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish's Joel Grey, Steven Skybell, Adam B. Shapiro, and more than two dozen members of the show's ensemble and creative team.

Amore Opera concludes its 2018-19 season at the Riverside Theatre at Riverside Church (91 Claremont Ave, New York, NY 10027) with a production of Giuseppe Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera, sung in its original Italian; and with a production of Gilbert and Sullivan's Iolanthe, performed entirely by children.

The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene's Off-Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, directed by Academy and Tony Award winner Joel Grey, will be releasing a cast album. The cast recording, released by Time Life Music and distributed byWarner Music Group, will be available in 2019, with an official date to be announced before the show transfers to Off-Broadway's Stage 42 in February.
