Following the sold-out success of COVID SUX: The Musical at Cumston Hall, Chris Henry, and Mark Falconer have written a new sequel to their previous original musical comedy about the pandemic featuring parodies of hit Broadway songs from shows like Hamilton, Les Miserables, Tick Tick Boom, West Side Story, Chicago, and Annie.

Choral Art Society of the South Shore, a welcoming, non-auditioned community chorus, invites new singers to attend the first rehearsal of the fall season on Tuesday, September 14, from 7 to 9 pm, at First Trinitarian Congregational Church, 381 Country Way, Scituate. Artistic Director and Conductor Danica A. Buckley welcomes returning members and newcomers of all skill levels to join the first rehearsal and learn about the fall season. NYC's Royal Family Productions is bringing back Chris Henry's popular adaptation of the novel Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery for one day only. Anne of Green Gables: Part I was a sold-out hit when performed at South Road Farm last September, and this remount pairs it for the first time with Anne of Green Gables: Part II. 

Florida Studio Theatre (FST) and the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall has announced that the two leading Sarasota arts organizations will partner to provide virtual theatrical offerings, entirely free of charge, to Sarasota and Manatee County schools, extending as far as Charlotte and Desoto Counties.
