Copland House, the award-winning creative center for American music and the arts based at legendary composer Aaron Copland's National Historic Landmark home in New York's Lower Hudson Valley, has announced its selection of Caples Jefferson Architects to plan, design, and develop Bluestone Farm, its vast, recently-purchased satellite venue on the New York-Connecticut border.

A keyboard operator, known as a captioner, seated in the audience, manually enters exactly what is said, when it is said. The script for each show is downloaded in advance, and the captioner makes adjustments on the fly as the play progresses, precisely reflecting the live action on stage.

Historic Hudson Valley announces the expansion of its blockbuster event Irving's 'Legend,' the dramatic retelling of Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, with more performances than ever before. The Halloween tradition at the Old Dutch Church now features both afternoon and evening performances on select dates in October 2018.
