Free digital tickets are now available for The Anonymous Lover which premieres online Saturday, November 14, at 5 PM Pacific Time. The Anonymous Lover is a 1780 comic romance by pioneering Black composer Joseph Bologne, known as the Chevalier de Saint-Georges. Conducted by Music Director James Conlon and directed by Bruce Lemon, Jr.

For the first time in over a decade, Houston Ballet brings back Copp lia, a family-friendly treasure created by former Houston Ballet Artistic Director Ben Stevenson OBE. Boston Ballet's 53rd season begins with the North American premiere of Ivan Liška's adventure and romance-filled Le Corsaire, with music by Adolphe Adam, Leo Delibes, Cesare Pugni, Riccardo Drigo, and Prinz von Oldenburg, performed by the Boston Ballet Orchestra. The narrative follows a beautiful maiden, a wealthy aristocrat determined to add her to his harem, and a dashing pirate even more resolved to save her. Based on Marius Petipa's 19th-century classic, Liška's version of Le Corsaire was created for the Bavarian State Ballet in 2007. Liška enlisted the assistance of dance historian Doug Fullington to decipher the choreography from its original Stepanov dance notation, which is housed in Harvard University Library's Theatre Collection. Le Corsaire will run from October 27 to November 6, 2016 at the Boston Opera House.

In her first season as principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre, Misty Copeland has hit the stage glowing. Dancing both new roles, to her, and those she has performed before, while still a soloist with the company, she brought new life and light to the ballets. Music from a range of popular classics has been adapted for a show (Cinderella's Makeover) that aims to introduce classical music to people who might not generally come into contact with such music.The show opens at PASA on June 10

Cinderella's Makeover, which has its world premiere at Performing Arts San Antonio (PASA) opening June 10, presents a Shrek-like version of the Cinderella story with music from some of the world's greatest classical composers.
