Yesterday marked the fifth annual Red Nose Day in the U.S., following activities and events across the country in recent weeks that brought together millions of Americans to have fun, make a difference, and raise money and awareness for children living in poverty. Red Nose Day has now raised more than $190 million in the campaign's first five years in the U.S., including nearly $40 million so far in the 2019 campaign with the fundraising ongoing through June and beyond.

NBC's “Red Nose Day Special” will feature the biggest names across entertainment with a packed lineup of music, comedy and short documentary films that educate and engage viewers on the cause for the fifth annual event.

Red Nose Day USA is back with a behind the scenes teaser for the 'One Red Nose Day and a Wedding' short film that will air in the US as part of NBC's 'Red Nose Day Special' airing May 23 at 8/7c.

A star-studded cast of Hollywood favorites is coming together to have fun, raise money and change lives for children in need in NBC's “Red Nose Day Special,” airing Thursday, May 23 (8-10p.m. ET). The primetime event will feature music, comedy and heartfelt films shedding light on children in need.

Today the 34th Santa Barbara International Film Festival announced that Michael B. Jordan is set to receive the Cinema Vanguard Award for his work in two of the year's critically acclaimed, culturally significant and record-breaking box office hits, Black Panther and Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures (MGM), Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema's Creed II. Jordan will be honored at the Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara, CA on Thursday, February 7th.

Acclaimed British director Ben Wheatley (Kill List, High Rise) has signed on to direct a new adaptation of Daphne du Maurier's classic, romantic, gothic thriller penned by screenwriter Jane Goldman (Kingsman series, X-Men: First Class). BroadwayWorld has just learned that Sony Pictures Classics' film adaptation of Anton Chekhov's THE SEAGULL, is set to be released in May 2018. The film is directed by Tony winner Michael Mayer and adapted for the screen by Tony winner Stephen Karam. The Seagull is fresh and modern and as relevant now as when it was first produced in 1903 Russia. It is the story of eight people, all of whom are fatally in love with the wrong person.

In Sally Potter's new dark comedy THE PARTY, Janet (Kristin Scott Thomas) is hosting an intimate gathering of friends in her London home to celebrate her political ascension, while her husband, Bill (Timothy Spall), seems preoccupied. Janet's acerbic best friend, April (Patricia Clarkson) arrives and others follow, some with their own dramatic news to share, but an announcement by Bill provokes a series of revelations that gradually unravel the sophisticated soiree, and a night that began with champagne may end with gunplay.
