The National Theatre has released images for Anupama Chandrasekhar’s critically acclaimed The Father and the Assassin, directed by the Kiln Theatre’s Artistic-Director, Indhu Rubasingham.

Originally performed in Chester as early as 1375, The Mystery Plays have been performed every five years in the city since 1951, with a cast of 150 actors, singers and musicians of all ages staging the 2023 production in the historic setting of the city’s beautiful cathedral.

The production team has been announced for the 2023 cycle of the Chester Mystery Plays, the UK's largest regularly produced community theatre production.

Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre will return this summer with three fantastic full-length productions coming to the biggest open-air theatre in the north. The open-air season will run from Friday, 1 July to Bank Holiday Monday, 29 August. 

Centenary Stage Company's production of Meteor Shower by Steve Martin opened this past weekend, and audiences are raving. Performances will run through March 6 in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center at 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ on the campus of Centenary University.

Meteor Shower by renowned actor, producer, and writer, Steve Martin is now being performed at Centenary Stage Company.  This is the one to see.  The expert direction of the Company’s Artistic Director, Carl Wallnau complements Martin’s clever plot and the play’s finely tuned dialogue. Centenary Stage Company has cast their production of Meteor Shower by Steve Martin, and tickets are on-sale now. Performances will take place February 18 through March 6 in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center at 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ on the campus of Centenary University.

The new album will include collaborations with Miley Cyrus, Lil Was X, Stevie Wonder, Dua Lipa, Nicki Minaj, & more. The album includes several re-imagined covers, as well as 10 brand-new songs.

Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre is set to stage its most eco-friendly season of shows yet.  A meadow of native grasses will be planted in a ring around the theatre’s central performance area to create a living, moving set within which to stage this year’s three productions. 

Rehearsing via zoom and then on the Storyhouse thrust stage and then outdoors in the park, productions of Merry Wives of Windsor, Pride and Prejudice and The Jungle Book open on Saturday 29 May and run until Sunday 30 August.

On the heels of two successful and safe in-person MainStage productions this past December and January, Opera Orlando is launching its 2020-21 Opera on the Town series next week with a world premiere production of Death of Ivan Ilych.

The Opera has had to postpone the piano workshop of its first commissioned opera, The Secret River, and will now launch the Opera on the Town series with the world premiere of Death of Ivan Ilych in partnership with Thompson Street Opera Company.
