Theatre Aspen School Sets Cast for Winter Conservatory's DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS

?Theatre Aspen School today announced the cast for the Winter Conservatory production of the eleven-time Tony Award-nominated musical comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Tickets are on sale now for the run which includes four performances at the Aspen District Theatre, from December 17th through 19th.

My Fair Lady is a musical based upon George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion, with book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe (Camelot). The story concerns Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flower girl who takes speech lessons from professor Henry Higgins, a phoneticist, so that she may pass as a proper lady. Little does Professor Higgins realize the important lesson Eliza is about to teach him in return.

Single Carrot Theatre is opening its doors for its sixth annual gala. This year's theme? Gold Rush. "We thought it was appropriate," says gala committee member Jessica Garrett. "They certainly knew how to party in the old west, and so do we. Why not take the theme and run with it?" she added.
