Walt Disney Records releases the soundtrack to the highly-anticipated Disney Original movie 'Descendants: The Rise of Red,' the newest installment in the mega-hit 'Descendants' franchise. On Wednesday, Disney+ celebrated the world premiere of the Disney Original Movie “Descendants: The Rise of Red” at the Walt Disney Studios Lot in Burbank, California. The latest film in the global hit “Descendants” franchise from Disney Branded Television welcomed cast members including Kylie Cantrall, Malia Baker, Rita Ora, Brandy, Dara Reneé, and more.

Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker, stars of the latest Descendants movie, stopped by Good Morning America to discuss the upcoming installment of the beloved franchise. In Descendants: The Rise of Red, Baker plays Chloe Charming, daughter of Cinderella and Cantrall plays Red, who is the daughter of the Queen of Hearts. Watch the full interview!

A music video for the new song 'What’s My Name (Red Version)' has debuted on DisneyMusicVEVO and is the first track to be released from the soundtrack. China Anne McClain is returning as Uma for Descendants: The Rise of Red. Watch the first teaser video for the film. Alex Boniello has joined the cast of the new Descendants movie musical on Disney+. The Spring Awakening and Dear Evan Hansen star will play Jack of Diamonds, the captain of the Queen of Hearts' Red Army. He joins the recently confirmed Paolo Montalban, who will reunite with his “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella” co-star Brandy.

Montalban will portray King Charming, Cinderella’s (Brandy) husband and Chloe’s (Malia Baker) dad, who is as much in love with Cinderella as he ever was.  He previously played Prince Charming opposite Brandy’s Cinderella in Walt Disney Television’s iconic 1997 movie “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.”
