Freckle Productions has announced that Stick Man, based on the book by Julia Donaldson with illustrations by Axel Scheffler, will return to the stage this Christmas for a 4-week run at Rose Theatre Kingston from Thursday 10 December.

The first trailer has been released for Twentieth Century Studios' daring mystery-thriller “Death on the Nile”! This tale of unbridled passion and incapacitating jealousy, which is directed by and stars five-time Academy Award nominee Kenneth Branagh and features an all-star cast of suspects, opens in U.S. theaters October 23, 2020. Due to current government guidelines resulting in a delay to the production, the producers of SISTER ACT announced today that performances in London and on tour have now been rescheduled.

According to Deadline, Audible is launching a new free podcast, Locked Together. The podcast will feature comedy duos, talking about how they are handling the lockdown, and sharing anecdotes from their respective experiences.

Noël Coward's classic comedy Blithe Spirit, directed by Sir Richard Eyre and starring Jennifer Saunders, has returned to the UK for a limited 6-week engagement at the West End's Duke of York's Theatre.

Star of Ab Fab The Movie and Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist, La Voix comes to The Epstein Theatre Liverpool on Saturday 28 March with her amazing new show: 'The UK's Funniest Red Head'.

Olivier award- winning actor Clive Rowe will join the cast as 'Eddie Souther' in the smash-hit musical a?oeSISTER ACTa??. He will play the part in Leicester, Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield, Manchester and London. In London, Clive will star opposite Whoopi Goldberg as 'Deloris Van Cartier' and Jennifer Saunders and 'Mother Superior'. Brenda Edwards will play 'Deloris Van Cartier' at selected performances during the London season and all venues on the UK and Ireland tour. Casting for the role of Mother Superior on the UK and Ireland tour and the full company will be announced soon.

Nottingham Playhouse has revealed a brand new set of shows for Autumn 2020 and Spring 2021 - including a chilling retelling of a classic ghost story, a Broadway hit making its way to Nottingham, exciting changes to the Playhouse's quintessential pantomime, and a political juggernaut brought to life.

Following a record breaking on sale, where SISTER ACT became one of London's fastest selling musicals, the musical will now open a week earlier. Performances now start on Tuesday 21 July 2020. The show runs until Sunday 30 August 2020. Tickets for the extra week go on sale at 10.00am on 7 February 2020.

Theatre Royal Bath Productions has released new production imagery for its hit comedy production of Yasmina Reza's God of Carnage which returns in a new UK tour following an acclaimed run as part of its Summer Season 2018. Directed by Lindsay Posner (A View from the Bridge, Carousel), the production stars Elizabeth McGovern (Downton Abbey, Ragtime) who reprises her dazzling performance as Veronica alongside Nigel Lindsay (Victoria, Four Lions) as bluff husband Michael with new cast members Samantha Spiro (Grandma's House, Lady Windermere's Fan) as Annette and Simon Paisley Day (Ralegh: The Treason Trial, The Crown) as her husband, Alan.

Due to high demand the show has also added an extra performance at 4pm on Saturday 7 Dec.

Since it went on sale Sister Act The Musical starring Whoopi Goldberg and Jennifer Saunders has broken all on sale records for a run at the Eventim Apollo having already sold over 95,000 tickets so far for the five week run. During the first day of on sale, demand was so high that several ticket agent websites crashed!
