Golden Globe winner Amanda McBroom returns to Birdland on this month to celebrate her new holiday album, WINTERSONG.

Following a very successful production of Plenty of Heart, Plenty of Hope at The Wallis, MUSE/IQUE is presenting Freedom at The Moulin Rouge: A Las Vegas Civil Rights Story at The Huntington August 27th and 28th, and at the Skirball Cultural Center September 4th and 5th. MUSE/IQUE’s artistic director Rachael Worby will direct guest vocalists: Kenton Chen, LaVance Colley, Ashley Faatoalia, Jabu Graybeal and Crystal Starr.  Children’s Theatre Company has announced Antonio De La Vega, Elijah Virgil Hughes, and Yuheng (Kitty) Jiang as the CTC Fellows for the 2024-2025 Season. 

GRAMMY Award-winning rap icon Nas announced that he has joined the creative team adapting the groundbreaking 1984 hip-hop film classic into a Broadway musical. Additional creative team members will be announced in coming weeks.
